Organization Profile:

American Tradition Institute (ATI) is a public policy research and educational foundation – a “think tank” – founded in 2009 to lead the national discussion about environmental issues, including air and water quality and regulation, responsible land use, natural resource management, energy development, property rights, and free-market principles of stewardship.

American Tradition Institute brings to bear a three-pronged strategy to advance responsible, economically sustainable environmental policy in the court of public opinion via our Center for Journalism and Media, in lawmaking bodies via our Center for Public Policy, and, in the court of law via our Environmental Law Center. Our strategic combination of issue-specific policy research, investigative journalism, and litigation packs a powerful punch for liberty and will build a strong foundation for sensible environmental and economic policy for generations to come.
